Installing PDFcreator

Print PDF

PDFcreator is a free open-source PDF printer, allowing you to print a document and a PDF of the document be created. This guide will show you how to install it.

Installation instructions

  1. Go to their website, http://www.pdfforge.org/ to download PDFcreator.

  2. Double click on the downloaded file to run the installation.

  3. Select you language then click "OK".

  4. Click "Next"

  5. Click "I accept the agreement", then click "Next".

  6. Click "Next" three more times (to use the defaults - advised for everyone except those who KNOW what they are doing).

  7. Uncheck the checkbox (under the toolbar) that says "Set Yahoo as my default search engine and notify me of changes", then click "Next".

  8. Uncheck the checkbox that says "PDFCreator Browser Add On for Internet Explorer and Firefox", then click "Next".

  9. Click "Next" three more times (to use the defaults - advised for everyone except those who KNOW what they are doing).

  10. The installer should work for a bit

  11. Once the installer is finished, click "Finish"

Note: You will probably have PDF reader installed to view PDF files. If you do not, install Adobe Acrobat reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/
